The Young Adults exist to create spaces of belonging through regular rhythms of fellowship for those in their 20s and 30s at Calvary.
Here's what that means:
The YA’ers welcome all married and single folks in their 20s and 30s.
To create spaces of belonging is our belief that belonging includes multiple spaces of connection, beyond both corporate worship and personalized small groups.
These spaces are created and maintained through regular rhythms, emphasizing consistency of gathering--in contrast to how transient these seasons of life can feel.
Lastly, these rhythms emphasize fellowship, which undergirds all else we might do, including food and fun, but without neglecting spaces for meaningful growth in faith.

Sundays During Lent | 6:30-9pm | Various Locations
Lenten Dinners
Lent is the season that prepares the body of Christ on the journey towards Easter; a 40-day period (which excludes Sundays) of repentance, fasting, and prayer. While we fast from various good things (typically food or drink) during the week, Sundays during Lent are mini rehearsals for Easter, as we break fast and celebrate together.
For the young adults, this is a very literal feast. Every Sunday during Lent, beginning February 22, we’ll meet for dinner from around 6:30 - 9pm. We’ll do a full dinner, read a little bit of Scripture, and then do 'shenanigans' until the host kicks us out. Each weekly meal will be posted on the Slack, but the first one is an open invitation to our 20s and 30s folks: Sunday, February 22nd, at 6:30pm in the Parlor at Calvary. It'll be a taco night, so bring a side.
