Middle School
The Middle School Ministry at Calvary Memorial Church exists to help form well rounded disciples and to shepherd students and parents through formative middle school years.
We pray that students will grow in scripture-based knowledge of the gospel and of Christ’s love. We pray that students will experience being belonging to the diverse, multigenerational body of Christ. And we pray that students grow in a joyful, missional faith that overflows to their families, friends, and communities.

Sunday School
Sundays

Our Sunday School space is designed to supplement families’ main service attendance with instruction in the core components of the Christian faith. This space is full of dialogue and thinking as students build key frameworks and grow in biblical literacy.
Youth Group
Wednesdays
6:00–7:45pm
Youth Group is a fun, welcoming gathering for middle schoolers to connect with adult leaders and one another in a safe, phone-free environment. Students are given the opportunity to experience and engage in Christ-centered community through games, worship, teaching, and small groups. Content is focused on heart transformation and Christian living.
First Fridays
Young people need to have fun together, and while there are fun components of our Sunday and Wednesday events, we offer additional opportunities for students to enjoy fellowship with one another. Each month, we have a fun event ranging from kickball to game nights to ice skating.

November 13–15
Expeditions Unlimited
Every fall, our middle and high school ministries set aside a weekend to get away from ordinary life to hear from God's Word, spend time with His people, and allow the Spirit to refresh our souls. The weekend is full of fun and laughter, but also fellowship and worship. Every year, this retreat is one of the biggest highlights and discipleship moments for our students and leaders; you don’t want to miss it!
Sumer Missions
Each year, as part of our efforts at well rounded discipleship, students have an extended time of mission and fellowship in an unfamiliar context. We have traveled to locations in Chicagoland and out of state with trusted partner organizations.
