Volunteer Training

On Wednesday, August 27, all Calvary volunteers are invited to gather for a special night as we look ahead to the coming year.

You are also invited if you do not currently volunteer but are interested in ways to participate and serve at Calvary.

We'll spend time worshiping together, sharing important updates, casting vision, and providing training. You'll also have the opportunity to meet with your specific ministry area to prepare and pray for the year ahead.

This gathering takes place the week before Midweek kicks off. Our regular Wednesday night dinner will be available from 5:00–6:00 p.m. for anyone who’d like to join. Please sign up for that so we know how much food to cater.

Training will begin at 6:00 p.m. and wrap up around 8:00 p.m.—we’ll close the evening with an ice cream social!

Childcare through middle school will be available!

As part of the evening, we’ll engage in training based on the book The Other Half of Church.
If you haven’t had a chance to read it yet, we encourage you to do so beforehand—it will enrich our time and conversations together.
