Dottie Hildebrandt

I started as a single secretary in Nairobi, Kenya and Jonathan started as high school Headmaster and then moved into Bible School teaching. About five years later we were married, and were sent to the coast to open a new Bible School, where our son Jon was born. After Home Assignment (furlough) in Winnetka, during which son Paul was born, we went to the Nairobi Church Office to begin their missionary care department; then to Eldoret to start the Church Missionary Training College for 10 yrs; then to Nairobi 4 yrs as Kenya Field Director; then to Ahero to head the Bible Training school for 4 years. From there we spent 2 years as Missionaries-in-Residence at LeTourneau Univ. in Texas, and finally 4 years as Home Director in the AIM Australian Office. In each of our assignments there were multiple opportunities for me to do office work, teach music, work with women, organize a library, etc.!

Jonathan and I served in Kenya and Australia total of 40 yrs. and retired to the AIM Retirement Center in Minneola FL in 2008. Jonathan was called Home in 2016 and I am blessed to still be busy in the Retirement Center in FL.
