A Message from

Pastor Gerald

Hi Everyone,

As I’ve looked ahead to my upcoming sermon series in Ecclesiastes, I see that I’ve planned a sermon on September 21 from Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 about how to wisely navigate the various times and seasons of life—"the times for peace, the times for war; the times for love, the times for hate; the times to kill, the times to heal.”

After some prayer and counsel, and after getting feedback from some of you, I think it will be best to say what I think needs to be said about our current cultural moment in the context of that sermon.

That will give me more time to pray, to listen to you all, and to connect what I think Jesus is telling us directly to his Word.

Whatever your feelings are at present, let’s hold on to love and not give way to fear. Let’s all pray for Charlie Kirk’s family, for our nation, and for our church. I covet your prayers in the coming week and am grateful to remain

Your pastor,
Gerald
