The Hammonds

Craig and Megan Hammond have spent their entire adult lives ministering to young people. In 1999 Craig worked as an intern with Calvary’s middle school ministry and in 2001 he began serving as the Pastor of Student Ministries. Then in 2007 Craig and Megan left Calvary and moved to Salem, Oregon to work with Campus Ambassadors at Willamette University. In 2019 they accepted an offer to pilot a chaplaincy program in their local public schools. Their work consists of regularly spending time on a local urban high school campus of 2500 students and 200 staff. While on campus they mentor students, help in English learning classrooms, serve as athletic coaches, volunteer in various capacities and give emotional and spiritual support to staff and students in times of crisis. They have four children: Kyler, Madelyn, Nora and Jackson and a dog named Whoopsie.
