Calvary Kids

Volunteer in children's classes to help provide a welcoming and safe environment that supports the growth and discipleship of our children. Volunteers are needed for both service times and a variety of ages. Details ›

Commitment: One Sunday a month.


Calvary Students

Serve as a leader and mentor for our Middle School or High School students. On Tuesday evenings during youth group, both student groups need volunteers to serve as small group leaders, leading small group discussion based on the evening's teaching. Serve as a greeter, usher or at the Welcome Desk to help make Calvary a warm, hospitable place for all. Joyfully greet people - offer a warm smile and an encouraging word. Help guests find what they’re looking for, and walk them to where they are going. Contact Pastor Jonathan Cummings ›

Would you like to create content in areas of photography, video, graphics, social media, editing or composition? Experienced mixed media creators are desired. Equipment, training and workflows are provided. Contact Carolyn Lundgren ›

Audio Visual

Are you a techy? Operate basic audio and video production. Training is provided; no experience necessary. Contact Chris Hauser›

Play an instrument or provide vocal accompaniment in Sunday services. Positions are available for a variety of musicians. Contact Chris Hauser ›

Accompany the choral anthems and congregational singing with brass, woodwind, string, or percussion instruments. Previous band or orchestra experience at the high school level or above is required. Contact Chris Hauser ›

Commitment: Two rehearsals and one Sunday a month plus seasonal opportunities.


Adult Choir

Lead the congregation in worship through a variety of musical styles. Join us if you have sung in a choir before. Contact Laura Trout ›

Commitment: Rehearse and sing in both services once a month.


Youth Choir

Students in 6TH through 12TH grade are invited to gain musical experience and minister the the congregation in song. Contact Jenna Cook ›

Commitment: Weekly rehearsals and sing around six times a year.


Children’s Choir

Develop vocal and music reading skills, and grow in faith through song. Open to all children in 1ST through 5TH grade, regardless of musical ability. Contact Shelby Wagner ›

Commitment: Practices, 9:00–9:50AM on Sundays, and occasional performances.



Volunteer to serve those in need and show love by offering 3 meals, a warm and safe place to sleep, and conversation. Calvary has partnered with Housing Forward ( to offer shelter on Thursday nights. Housing Forward provides services to help transition people from housing crisis to housing stability in the western Cook County suburbs. Please send email to for details.

By The Hand, one of Calvary's Organizational Partnerships, is a Christ-centered, after school program that takes children by the hand and walks with them through college, helping them have abundant life—mind, body and soul.
