Many of you had the opportunity to join us last Sunday evening for our "Confronting Anxiety" CalvaryEd Talks event where we had the privilege to hear from our very own Dr. Stephanie Griswold. We are grateful for both Stephanie and Pastor Gerald, and for the insight and encouragement they were able to share with us regarding the topic of Anxiety.  If you were not able to participate last Sunday, you can access a recording of the event by clicking on the image above.

GAME On! At HOME

This week, Taylor Hanson, Calvary's Director of Children's Ministries, and her staff made the difficult decision to move from an on site summer camp to an at home model. Taylor writes, "Game On! 2020 may not look the same as we originally planned, but we are looking forward to a fun and purposeful week for our campers! Campers will still experience engaging Bible stories, meaningful worship, and be given a broad range of activities to choose to participate in."

An email was sent out earlier in the week to all families who had registered for Game On! 2020 with information regarding their existing registration and next steps. Please contact Taylor Hanson if you have any questions.

SPECIAL NEEDS
SUPPORT GROUP

This Sunday, May 24, at 9AM, the Special Needs Support Group plans to meet via Zoom.

This is a group intended to engage God as we live together and encourage one another in a life that is in some way touched by special needs. In a relaxed atmosphere, we will together unpack this life and God’s role in it by celebrating victories and answers to prayer, sharing ways we see God working, looking for wisdom, bearing each other’s burdens, and encouraging one another.

RESCHEDULED SPRING MEETING (VIA ZOOM)

Originally, our Spring Meeting was scheduled to be held on Sunday, March 15. This was to be a time to hear from our elders and staff and to receive a report on the fruit of God’s work at Calvary. Due to COVID-19, this meeting was canceled and our 2019 Annual Report was distributed via mail.

We have rescheduled this constitutionally-required meeting for Sunday, May 31 from 8-9PM via Zoom.

All Calvary members are asked to attend this meeting. Regular attenders are also welcome.

The large group teaching video for the week of May 25 has been posted to the Women's Ministry webpage. Click on the link below to learn more about how you can participate in this study and to access the teaching video.

GOT ZOOM?

During the last few months, many of us have had the opportunity to connect with one another using Zoom. While nothing beats being together in person, this technology allows us to continue to see each other's faces (only if you want) and hear from one another.

We want to ensure that everyone who would like to join in our Zoom gatherings is able to do so. Do you need assistance getting set up with Zoom? We have individuals who would be happy to help. Please reach out to Caroline Wittman to request Zoom assistance.
