Dear Calvary Family,
We will be hosting a short congregational meeting in the Sanctuary on Sunday, June 23, immediately following the 10:45AM worship service. The membership of Calvary will vote on the recommendation by the Elders to secure a $500,000 line of credit. The meeting should not last longer than 20-30 minutes. Childcare will be provided.
As many of you have heard, we have an urgent need to repair and replace our 100-year-old roof. Our roof is significantly deteriorating and is the cause of the increasing water damage we are experiencing in our sanctuary and in other areas of the church. In order to begin the repair process in the Fall, the Elders are proposing that we secure a $500,000 line of credit specifically and exclusively for the repair and replacement of the roof.  At our Fall Business Meeting, we will be proposing a multi-year Capital Campaign that will address additional facility repairs and ministry needs, enhancements and initiatives that are not a part of this roof repair proposal.
The Elders will be hosting two Elder Listening Sessions on Sunday, June 23 for anyone who has questions about the proposal on which we will be voting.  Sessions will take place from 9:00AM-9:45AM in the Dining Room and 10:45AM-11:30PM in the Parlor.  An informational sheet will be sent via email next week related to the terms of the line of credit. Please join us at one of those Listening Sessions if you have questions or feel free to send an email to .

SERVE in Calvary Kids

Help us make our nurseries and classrooms welcoming and safe spaces that support the growth and discipleship of our children, by serving alongside our Calvary Kids leaders. Join this dynamic team by volunteering to serve Sunday mornings in one of our nurseries or Calvary Kids classes, or Wednesday evenings during our Awana program. Learn more about serving in Calvary Kids and complete our volunteer sign up online or stop by the table in the Portico on Sunday.

Please note, parents who regularly use our Children’s Ministry (infants – 5th grade) are asked to serve 12 times a year.

Beginning in October, we will have the opportunity to serve those in our community who are without shelter, as Calvary will now serve as an overflow PADS site on Thursday evenings.

If you have an interest in learning more about this new ministry, please plan to attend our volunteer training session in the Dining Room on Sunday, June 30 immediately following the second service.

Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP through the link below, so that we might plan accordingly.

Childcare will not be available for this event.

Dinner for 8 Signup

Our June 21 Dinner for 8 gatherings are set. If you have signed up to participate on that evening, you will be hearing from your host shortly, if you have not already.

Don't miss out on this Calvary summer tradition. You may still sign up either to host or attend a July 19 or August 16 dinner

Dinner for 8 provides a friendly, informal means for Calvary members and attenders to meet one another, enjoy a delicious meal, and have a sweet time of fellowship. The hope is for you to meet new people across the Calvary family. This is not a gourmet dinner club, but an opportunity to strengthen and deepen the relationships between those who attend Calvary.

The dinner groups will be comprised of members from any of the cities, towns, and villages in which those attending Calvary reside and will not be isolated geographical groups.
