Calvary Meet & Eat gatherings provide a friendly, informal means for Calvary members and attenders to meet one another, enjoy a delicious meal, and have a sweet time of fellowship. The hope is for you to meet new people across the Calvary family. This is not a gourmet dinner club, but an opportunity to strengthen and deepen the relationships between those who attend Calvary. Gatherings will either be a Friday Night Dinner (adult guests only) or a Saturday Morning Brunch (open to all ages).

Our Upcoming Meet & Eat Gatherings will be held:
Fri Feb 28 | Dinner | Adults Only
Sat Feb 29 | Brunch | All Ages

Use the link below to sign up to host or attend one of these events or stop by the table in the Portico this Sunday to sign up in person.

Small Groups are designed to help you develop relationships with others who can encourage and challenge you to consistently apply the truths of God’s Word to each area of your life. Small Groups are our primary means of discipleship and pastoral care.

Each Calvary Small Group meets three to four times a month. Times and locations vary by group. It is our desire that these groups foster a loving, prayerful, and self sacrificing community. Visit our Small Groups web page through the link below to learn more and complete the Small Group Interest form.

An introductory small group co-led by Pastor Gerald will be starting up on Tuesday, February 25. If you are new to Calvary or just new to small groups, this group will provide you with the opportunity to get to know Pastor Gerald as well as his heart for Calvary, connect with others who call Calvary home, and gain a better understanding of what it means to be a part of a Calvary Small Group.

What can we learn from the wisdom of Christians who have lived in centuries past? What relevance does the church’s past have for the issues and struggles facing us today? How has the Holy Spirit been faithful to guide the church through various trials and challenges?Understanding the narrative of Christian history is essential to discerning how to live faithfully and with hope in today’s complex world.

Our current Calvary Core class, History: Wisdom from the Christian Tradition, will explore rich insights from the 2000-year history of the Christian church, making specific application to our lives in American culture and the modern world. Join us as we glean wisdom from the Patristic, Medieval, Reformation, and Modern periods of the Christian Story in this four-week survey course.

This class will meet Wednesday evenings at 6:30PM in the Heritage Room for four weeks.

We believe that this question can be answered by examining the story of the Gospel. It is for this reason that we have created a one session foundational class entitled Christianity 101. In this class we will examine how the living creator God has done, and is doing, something incredibly profound in our world to reveal his love.

Who should attend? This class is for anyone who is curious, frustrated, hopeful, discouraged, joyful, skeptical, thankful, discontent, or doubtful about life. This class is not just geared for Christians, nor is it geared only for non-Christians. This class is for everyone!

We will meet together in the Heritage Room (Rm 104). A light breakfast will be provided. Childcare is available through our regularly scheduled Calvary Kids programming. This class will be offered every other month.

Do you desire a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and other believers? Do you want to experience the power of a transformed life? Consider applying for the 2020-21 C.S. Lewis Fellows Program.

The C. S. Lewis Fellows Program is designed to strengthen believers who want a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and to be more credible and effective for Christ in the marketplace. It challenges and guides you towards spiritual maturity with an emphasis on the discipleship of heart and mind. It involves Bible study, the reading of Christian classics (not just C.S. Lewis), lectures, small group processing, mentoring and accountability—all in the context of a small group of other believers.

Fellows continue in their careers while participating in this year-long program, and requirements are designed to be achievable even for busy professionals with families.

More information may be found in this C.S. Lewis Fellows Program flier or through the link below.
