Bob
Boerman, Pastor of Spiritual Development, Chief of
Staff Bob, who just started his 19th year at Calvary, has a passion for helping individuals and families deepen their walk with Christ. His ministry primarily focuses upon preventative education for families and individuals. To do this, Bob works with parents and couples in their pursuit of Christlikeness through parenting classes, retreats, and other functions. He is convinced that God is more concerned with our direction than our perfection, as it pertains to the family. He also oversees Calvary's Adult Bible Fellowships, which are smaller congregations within the larger church body. ABFs foster a sense of community and accountability for those interested in growing closer to Christ. He and his wife, Jean, have been married for 29 years, and God has blessed them with three daughters.Last but not least, Bob oversees the ministerial staff and sets future direction for the church with the assistance of the pastoral staff and elders.
Howard
Duncan,
Pastor of Caring Ministries Howard
desires to provide a sense of compassion, comfort, counseling,
and community to the church. He oversees such programs LifeCare,
hospital visitation, prayer ministries, singles ministries,
women’s ministries, the Golden Heirs, and bereavement.
For 20 years he served as an associate pastor and camp
director in Chicago, and then 7 years as a system analyst
at a north suburban hospital. He is a graduate of Moody
Bible Institute, Wheaton College, Wheaton Graduate School,
and a doctoral candidate from Northern Illinois University.
His wife, Linda, is a professor of nursing at North Park
University, Chicago, IL. Howard and Linda have two children,
who are both medical students.
Andrew
Irvin, Pastor of Worship and Music Andrew
Irvin is Calvary's Pastor of Worship and Music. A native
of Ohio, and '89 alumni of 2003 Football National Champion
the Ohio State University, Pastor Andrew has been a part
of three other church music ministries before coming to
Chicagoland. He lives in neighboring River Forest with his
wife Christina and two daughters. Pastor Andrew has a passion
to see people engaged in worshiping the Lord in a way that
honors Him and involves the whole worshiper - heart, soul,
mind, and strength.
Craig
Hammond, Pastor of Student Ministries Craig
Hammond, a native of Michigan, is a graduate of Moody Bible
Institute in Chicago. Craig has served at Calvary since
1997. He and his wife Megan, also a Moody graduate, minister
to more than 100 high school age teens through our Allied
Force ministry. Craig also oversees Power Connection, the
junior high ministry at Calvary.
Darin
Weil,
Pastor of Junior High Ministries
Darin is the Pastor
of Junior High Ministries at Calvary Memorial Church.
He originally grew up in California and was called
into full-time ministry when he was 19. Darin received
his B.A. from Moody Bible institute and his M.A.
from Wheaton College. He has served at Calvary since 1998.
Darin has a heart for Junior High students and loves serving
God by teaching God's Word to teenagers.
