Calvary is an independent, evangelical congregation located in beautiful Oak Park, Illinois. Each week, about 1,200 people from Chicago and the near-west suburbs gather for services and classes. We have a shared heritage of 89 years of ministry, yet we always seek new ways to honor Jesus Christ and reach out to our community.

You’ll find a lot of diversity at Calvary – different ages, races, and personal stories. Together, we’re striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible – a church with relevant teaching, heartfelt worship, honest friendships, faithful prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. Our purpose is to glorify God by making disciples who love God and one another.
