I am a conservative, with feelings and emotions that lean towards understanding the actions taken of liberals when it is needed. But I am said to be one of the most patient people, my friends have ever seen; yet I don’t admit to this at all; with the onset of this War came I thought of Saint Francis. How he tried to stop the crusades warring armies against each other, with out compromising His own beliefs in God and Jesus Christ but witnessing to the Islamic leaders. He is said to have walked right through the fighting lines of battle and into the camps of the Muslim leaders to speak with them. Today I would not recommend such an approach. I am fully aware that God has every thing under control. My question might better be, do we and are we on the side of right. Pre-emptive Strikes could very well be considered by the world as not a defensive posture but an aggressive attack on a people. I herd what the media reported and the Public Relations that the White house was giving the public, but I was never given full and complete documentation of wrong doing only the inference of wrong doing and the lack of a weapon to show after it had possibly been destroyed is not enough for me to be on the side of aggression. I have fears too of terrorist attacking again here in the United States; I don’t want anyone to be killed at all for any unjust reasons. I was a protester during the Vietnam War and a conservative one I never saw any protesters spit on anyone I was not jailed I was a peaceful protester protesting for peace! Today’s youth that I see protesting in the streets in America have a range of emotions and also a range of violent tendencies that they are not all willing to control I would not like to be a part of those kinds of people. I would prefer that protesters would not emulate the early Malcolm X but Exemplify the Character of Martin Luther King Jr. drench everything in prayer before you do anything. Then think of the possible consequences. I can’t say that I always do that my self but I would try. I feel that protesters could be the unwitting dupes playing into the of hands of terrorists that would want to get close to a certain building under the cover of a crowd of people and then they could be themselves blown up in an act of insanity. It also seems to me that one police officer that has to deal with a protester is one less in the man power effort towards defending against any such attacks.
I wish that I did not see anger in the face of the president when he talks about and speculates and hypothesizes about the evil intent of an obvious antagonist of American values, I too could very well be considered anti American in that I don’t believe in Gambling, or so much of our immoral attitudes that we have in this free society, but I have not notably killed my own people who I am said to be the leader of either. I would love it if I could change at least 50 % of the nation’s agnostics, humanists and atheists and other false religious people to become Christians, but not by force. America would be a much better place to live even then it is right now. I have seen that so many want to live here but is it because we are a good people or that they can make such tremendous wealth here and live a much prosperous life than anywhere else. This would be in terms of Goodness equal to a prosperity gospel if we look at it in those terms. I pray that our nation will be seen as a place where justice and righteousness and God is Honored. I hope that this is why people from other nations would want to come here, to find liberty from oppression of evil men. I pray that Our nation can regain the confidence of the world by our righteous acts in regards to the respect of all mankind, and the earth that we live on temporarily.

so far going into the 12th day of the war we have seen that there are a lot of protective clothes for chemical war fare but as yet no indication of real chemical bombs I feel that the americans need to keep wary of the most simple things being a chemcal bomb over there. Saddom does not care what he does to his people so if none of his troops are around and just suicide mujadeen from the bath party then they could be carrying these dirty bombs in their vehecle. many of the Islamic countries seem to be allowing people to go to Iraq to help there brothers they are being influenced by Aljazera radio that this is a religious war. and to them it is to christians it is a war on terror. I have to also say that i really think that those playboy bunny actions of sending the soldiers their pictures will be fuel for the fire of the west being such an immoral evil that the military should think about telling them not to do that, On that basis alone it would be enough not just because I am saying this from my christian prospective. It appears that we are focusing on conquering the captital. with vollunteers comming from other couontries to attack us from the rear and leave us no way out. we need to pray that a reveation of christianity would come before these people and that they might be saved. I know they are the enemy right now but we ourselves were the enemy of God while Jesus still went to the cross for us. we need to pray for their conversion at this time for them to see that the humanitarin needs are being met right away that we are not an America to steal anything from them but that our christian nature has formed our thinking so much that even in those that Americans yet not christians that even they are a witness to the truth. pray for our men and woman over there that they do the best they can and seek God also before death might come and for their safety, and that they can do the job they were sent their to do swiftly deciesivly and as clean as possible. our T.V. embedded actors, I mean television news media have made themselves out to be ego seekers ted is too old to be over their. and they are too free with hints of their location and one has been fired for being or saying things anti American that didnt to me sound that bad, but I didnt hear them in the context of the surounding circumstance or criticisum. I keep a list of the dead, MIA, and the injurd, as well as the list we got from church, I pray for all of them. and for the politics too be flexable enough on both sides for Godly things to happen. to improve the freedom of the Gospel in that country. during and after this great conflict. Pray for our leaders the president and the staff his advisors and the generals on the battle field. the Suadi King seemed to be intimating that the advisors of the president needed punishment for the wrong advice. in order to curb that kind of talk we need still to find solid evidence of weapons of mass distruction and chemical and biological warfare that we can show the world. on our media and their media. in order to supress the muslim unity of brotherhood they feel towards Saddom. this has yet to be done. I pray that it is found. and that our cause is justifyed even more so before the world court.

The fifteenth day has come and gone in this war 677 civilians have lost there lives in the war according to our news I dont know where they got that number, but sure that they can prove it. That means that 45 people each day would have had to die of course that is just an average an no one dies on averages.
Another thing that disturbs me about the war is that our armed forces have lost men to accidents almost half compared to actual combat casualties. Two men rolled over by a truck one walked in front of a machine gun and it accidentally went off. and other deadly accidents that should never of happened. I feel for the family and I'm very sorry that they are gone. but I also pitty the poor soldier that caused such a tragidy. That must be a very hard thing to live with. I heard on moody that christian literature is band from Iraq, and that it is equated with the ban of pornagraphy but on T.V. I saw that playboy was sending the troops sleeze photos of there new promotion of there woman in costume representing diferent branches of the armed forces. these things were recieved and accepted and one soldier had posted a pinup on his jeep. that seemed to be public enough to notice by others. I agree that we should not try to force Bibles down the throats of muslims. but dont equate it with pornagraphy and dont allow the proliferation of that kind of pinup in a country that believes a woman should be covered from head to toe, We need to curb moral immpurity, if only for one reason it is bad public relations of America, and my reason is that we should not even offend an enemy let alone an brother, because then they are given fuel for the fire of their cause against us. as a sinful nation and people, simply not to listen to any thing that we should say. keep praying for our people in the armed forces for their safety, and the salvation of those that yet do not beleive for their souls, including the people of Iraq. I feel that praying for our enemy is an integral part of ending the war, I pray that they might come to an epiphony that Jesus christ is Lord, and accept Him as their savior, before they kill any more people. Oh an that would cause them to stop fighting all together. However big a pray you think it may be or however rediculous you think it is I beleive that God could still answer my prayer. It may be like moving a mountain but that is what they're therefore.

another thing that I have noticed is that in the news our soldiers a posted on a list of the dead. I would like to see also the list of injured so that I could pray for them too. I also think that it would be very nice if all the men from every country were posted on one list, British, and Austrailians as well. this would show me that America doesn't just concern them selves with themselves all the time. this war is susposed to be for homeland security, but also for the people of Iraq to be freed from terrany too. We as Americans would be seen in a much better light if we expressed what we can be a more knoble charity and compassionate nation. but we do tend to be ethnocentric and nationalistic. I guess I just want those that fought side by side with our soldiers to be honored too, right along side of our mne and woman. It is one battle and we go together.
