Our Small Groups are designed to help you develop relationships with others who can encourage and challenge you to consistently apply the truths of God’s Word to each area of your life. Calvary's Small Group Ministry is the primary means of discipleship and pastoral care at Calvary.
Each Small Group meets three times a month and is made up of 6 to 12 people. Calvary offers opportunities to connect with mixed Home Groups, Women’s Small Groups, and Men’s Small Groups. Our Small Groups are inter-generational and meet throughout the week. As discipleship-focused Small Groups, we center our time on application-based study, connection and care, prayer and accountability, and service to others.

Available Groups
Mixed Home Groups
Calvary's Home Groups meet evenings throughout the week in Oak Park and the surrounding communities. Homes Groups are mixed-gendered, and include both married and singles. Home Groups provide opportunity for focused discussion around matters of faith, as well as a "break-out" time for separate times of prayer and accountability for men and women. All groups are open, and can be joined at any time.

Men's Small Groups
Calvary's Men's Small Groups meet on Wednesday evenings at the church, as well as throughout the week in various communities, mostly in the mornings. Our Wednesday evening Small Group Study offers a large group teaching time, followed by a "break out" time which allows for focused prayer and deepening relationships. Whether you're looking for a Wednesday night group, or an early morning group, Calvary's Men's Ministry will find the best fit. All groups are open, and welcome new comers at any time.

Women's Small Groups
Are you connected to other women in shepherding relationships? Calvary's Women's Small Group Studies meet on Wednesday evenings and Tuesday mornings at the church. These Small Group Studies offer a large group teaching time, followed by a "break out" time which allows for focused prayer and shepherding relationships. Childcare is provided for both meeting times. Calvary also offers Women's Home Groups, which meet in homes throughout the surrounding communities. All groups are open, and can be joined at any time.

Adelphoi Small Groups (Young Adults)
Calvary's Young Adult Ministry (Adelphoi) hosts small groups on Tuesday evenings. These groups meet in homes throughout Oak Park and the surrounding communities for dinner, fellowship, mutual encouragement and prayer. If you are single and in your twenties, these Small Groups are a great way to connect with other young singles who are looking to grow deeper in their faith. All groups are open, and welcome new comers at any time.
