One in Worship - Sunday, March 14
All three worship services will have the same format and will include music and worship forms that recognize some of the many people groups represented in the body of Calvary. We rejoice to see that Calvary's body has begun to anticipate the church of Jesus Christ in the new Jerusalem, many nations becoming one nation in Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:4,5,9):
As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ... But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Let us:
Praise, glorify and worship God in the unity of the Holy Spirit (Revelation 5:9-13).
Practice Christian love by appreciating and valuing the richness of our varied ethnic groups and tongues (Ephesians 4:2-6).
Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our body and to our community (Philippians 2:9-11; Revelation 21:22-26).
