Power
Connection is the Junior High Ministry (6th - 8th grade)
of Calvary Memorial Church. We exist to make Christ-like disciples
by:
1)
Helping students to develop a Biblical worldview (seeing things
through God's Eyes)
2) Challenging the Students
in their personal relationship with Jesus
3) and Equipping them
to be a light in their world.
We
accomplish this through discipleship, worship, evangelism,
fellowship, and service.
Power
Connection (Tuesday Nights)
Power Connection meets every Tuesday night from 7:00 pm to
9:15 pm in the Youth Room at Calvary (located on the 3rd
floor of the west wing). During any given Tuesday night
we will have games in the gym, a time of praise and worship,
dynamic Bible teaching, and "So What?" time in
a small group discussion format.
This
night is designed for students from all levels of Spiritual
maturity. Depending on where the student is at, Power Connection
is designed to introduce the students to Christ, teach them
how the apply God's Word in their lives, and how to reach
out to their friends.
Level
Two (Sunday Morning)
Level Two is our Sunday Morning program that meets in the
Junior High room (next to the youth room) from 10:00 am
to 11:10 am. This is designed to challenge the students to
think deeper about God's Word. Level Two is open to everyone
but is geared for regular attendees who probably already
have a relationship with Christ and have at least a basic
understanding of His Word.
Level
Two is the "next step" in the students growth process
and really challenges them to take the Word of God seriously,
study it, and put it in to practice in their daily lives.
Level Two is also a place where students begin to learn the
basics of knowing why they believe what they do and will learn
to give an explanation for their faith if they are ever called
upon to do so.

In addition to Power Connection and Level Two, we also participate
in many activities outside of those two meeting times. These

Outings
All
events and meetings are open to all Junior High Students.
You do not have to be a member of Calvary to participate.
Some events however, do require a sign-up and a deposit. If
you would like to participate in any event, please contact
Cindy Todd or Darin Weil at the church office
(708 386-3900). Power Connection and Level Two meetings are
always free and never require sign-ups. All are welcome! See
