Why
Missions?
Calvary
Memorial
Church
has
a
heart
for
missions
because
God
has
a
heart
for
missions.
It
has
been
God's
desire
from
the
beginning
that
all
the
world
would
know
him
and
worship
him.
John
3:16
tells
us
that
God
loves
the
world.
Psalm
96:3
says,
"Declare
his
glory
among
the
nations,
his
marvelous
works
among
all
the
peoples."
God
told
Abraham
in
Genesis
that
all
the
peoples
of
the
earth
would
be
blessed
through
him.
Just
before
he
ascended
into
heaven,
Jesus
told
his
disciples
to
go
and
make
disciples
of
all
nations.
In
Romans,
Paul
poses
the
questions,
"How,
then,
can
they
call
on
the
one
they
have
not
believed
in?
And
how
can
they
believe
in
the
one
of
whom
they
have
not
heard?
And
how
can
they
hear
without
someone
preaching
to
them?
And
how
can
they
preach
unless
they
are
sent?"
(NIV).
We
are
committed
to
sending
missionaries
to
the
ends
of
the
earth
so
that
all
the
nations
will
know
the
name
of
Jesus
Christ!
