AWANA means Fun & Games and God & His Word!

Wednesday nights (September-April) at Calvary is a great time for kids! Whether your kids were raised in church or are new to the Bible and God, we welcome you and your children to join us!

Children enjoy action packed games. They also learn big lessons of the Bible in kid-sized pieces. AWANA kids work on memorizing Bible verses, singing songs, and meeting friends in their church and community.  See awana.com for parent resources, the Awana store, the Awana curriculum and much more!

AWANA Clubs meet Wednesdays from 6:45-8:30pm. It all kicks off in the Sanctuary before kids break off by age. The programs run from September through April and children may join at any time during the school year.

There are many ways to register! You can register online now! It's so easy to enroll your child in AWANA! You can also come on any Wednesday night at 6:45 and look for someone in a shirt that says "AWANA" on it, contact Calvary and ask for AWANA, or .

Parent Helpers

Every night at Awana we give children a listening ear as we hear hundreds of memorized Bible verses being recited.  What a wonderful gift to hear God's word coming from the mouths of our own children.  We welcome helpers, especially parents, to be involved in Awana as we grow your children in the Lord.  And parents are the main influence on a child's spiritual life.  So, we'd love to hear from you if you'd be interested in helping with our Awana program.

What Awana Club is right for your child?

Cubbies

3 & 4-year-olds (meets 1st floor of the east wing off the children's lobby)

Pre-schoolers work through ‘Jumper' and ‘Hopper', a fun curriculum that teaches scripture and encourages parents and children to interact.

Sparks

Kindergarten through 2nd grade (meets on the 2nd floor of the east wing)

AWANA is in the process of helping these kids take flight! Each handbook takes children chronologically through the Bible with the help of some fun new characters.

Truth and Training Clubs (TnT)

3rd -6th graders (Girls meet lower level of east wing, Boys meet in Parlor of the west wing)

The girls and the guys in TnT work through handbooks that teach them more about developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and increasing their faith through Scripture memorization and Bible study. We encourage students to participate in service projects, evangelism, and promote team-oriented games that add up to tons of fun!
