CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Life Development Institute
Equipping Adults for the Seasons of
Life
Life
Development Institute enters into its' second season at
Calvary, but it may be new to you. What's LDI? Life Development
Institute is for those who want to grow deeper in their
Christian faith so that they are able to face life, firmly
planted in God's Word. At LDI, we offer four major growth
tracks, which will give the needed resources so that you
can successfully navigate the seasons
of life.
Each
year specific "core" electives
are offered so if you miss one this semester, it may be available
again next year.
Why
should you attend? As you grow through participation in
LDI and become the person God intended you to be, your
life will be a witness to others and reflection of His
life within you. LDI will also give you a chance to grow
in community with others as you study together.
Each elective covers a specific topic
in 12 weeks or less.

Beloved Disciple
Beth Moore series for women
Explore the life of the apostle John with inspirational speaker and author Beth Moore. Through her personal study of this extraordinary biblical figure, Moore conveys that John had the God-given gift of seeing a larger picture, and that his love relationship with Christ profoundly influenced everything he did and wrote. In Beloved Disciple, you will get to know the one the New Testament calls the "beloved disciple." As a result, you'll see yourself as a modern "beloved disciple" and will discover how to allow God to establish a love relationship with Christ as the motivation for all you do.

Impact Their World For Christ
Parenting Is Heart Work
Are you ready to do the "heart" work of parenting and to see amazing transformation in your child’s life? If so, this study is for you, since you’ll learn how to touch your child’s heart. Most parenting courses deal primarily with behavior modification techniques, but here’s the truth—unless you deal with a child through his or her heart; you are not likely to see lasting change. This 8-week DVD study with Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller is a perfect compliment to our core curriculum "The Essentials of Discipline" (last years' study).

The Bible Track
Helping People Grow in Their Understanding and Application of God’s Word
"God's Wisdom for Life"
Join others for a weekly study of the book of Proverbs that tell us how to live life from God's perspective. Do you need insights into every area of your life, such as your family, your work, your church, your marriage, your friendships, your relationships, your time management, your parenting skills, your temper, your heart, your mind, and your soul?
Remember one goal of a proverb is to say what is important in the fewest words so that we will easily remember it when we need to do what is right, just, and true.
