Parenting Classes and Support
Abraham Lincoln once said, "The strength of a nation lies in the homes of its people." We agree that families are the backbone of the church and society as a whole. In fact, strengthening families is one of our 7 main priorities as a church. We provide parental support through classes, external publications and individual or family counseling.
Parenting Classes
Classes happen Wednesday evenings or in our Sunday morning Adult Bible Fellowships(ABF), especially our Life Trainers ABF for young parents.
Recent classes include: "Graced Based Parenting" by Tim Kimmel, "Parenting is Heart Work" by Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller, and the "Essentials of Discipline" by Dr. James Dobson.
