Golden Heirs Tour of Chicago's Jewish Communities
The history of the Chicago Jewish communities began in the 1830’s and by 1930 there were almost 300,000 Jews, almost 9 percent of Chicago’s population, living in Chicago. Jewish history is one of arrival, growth, maturation, relocation, and dispersion. Our tour of the Jewish communities includes various neighborhoods, religious, cultural, and charitable institutions. Edward Mazur, President of Chicago Jewish Historical Society will lead this step on bus tour. Cost: $20.00
