PRAYER FOR PASTOR OF WORSHIP AND MUSIC

The Search Committee for the Pastor of Worship and Music invites - no, entreats - you to join us in an evening of prayer in the Parlor tonight from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.  Recognizing the impact the man filling this position will have on our congregation, we have dedicated ourselves to setting aside an evening to spend time before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord's guidance, and trusting Him to move in our midst.  The Bible tells us that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16).  In preparation, everyone who will be answering this Worshipers' Call to Prayer is being asked to spend some time, individually, before the Lord cleansing and preparing your hearts – so we may come together confidently and with full assurance that our prayers will not be hindered but will indeed avail much! Childcare will be provided for children ages 0 - 5 years of ages.

BUSINESS MEETING...FELLOWSHIP BEFORE WITH AN ETHNIC TWIST!

The Biannual Business Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. All voting members are expected to attend. Plan to join us for refreshments before the meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the dining area. Those with last names beginning with M - Z are being asked to provide the dessert that reflects your ethnic heritage, if possible. Those with names A - L are also welcomed to bring an ethnic dessert to share if you wish. Please label the ethnic origin of the dessert you will be bringing. Please pick up an Annual Report at either Welcome Desk, read it, and bring it with you to the meeting next Sunday.

JUST A REMINDER

“Solomon's Way Ministry: Discerning the Ways to Peace" is the name of the ministry at Calvary Memorial Church based upon the principles of Peacemaker Ministries. The primary purpose of the ministry is to provide teaching and assistance to those in our church in responding to conflicts through biblically-based coaching and mediation. These services can be provided to one or more individuals. Confidentiality is a hallmark of the process. The ministry can be accessed by leaving a voice mail at 708.386.4258. This voice mailbox will be regularly monitored by the Solomon's Way Ministry Team.
