The Gospel and Race

Join us on Wednesday, February 15, at 7:00 p.m. for a infosession, "The Gospel and Race", with Dr. Bruce Fields, who will speak on how the gospel transforms our views of race and diversity, to the glory of God. We're pleased to welcome Dr. Fields, who serves as Associate Professor of Biblical and Systematic Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has published a book, Black Theology: 3 Crucial Questions for the Evangelical Church. His family lived for many years in Oak Park, and now resides in Chicago.

Adult Bible Fellowships

Many of our Sunday morning ABFs are starting new courses this week. 

• Life Trainers (8:30 am, Parlor) - An Overview of the Bible  (continuing)
• Faith Builders (10:00 am, Choir Room) - Prayer:  A Call to Intimacy and Service to God (new)
• Running the Journey (10:00 am, Parlor) - The Wisdom of the Early Church  (new)
• At His Feet (11:30 am,  Parlor) - Jonah:  a Gracious God, a Rebellious Prophet, and a Great Salvation (new)
• Friendship Class (10:00 am, Dining Room) - Titus (continuing)

Men's Ministries Breakfast

The next Men's Ministries breakfast is Saturday, February 18 from 7:00 – 8:45 am in the Dining Room.  Come for breakfast, fellowship, prayer and teaching from God's Word.  Contact Pastor Keith for more information.

Middle School Parents

Do you have children in middle school? Would you like to receive consistent updates about our middle school ministry? Worship and Music Ministry

New Youth Choir

We are starting a choir for the youth of Calvary Memorial Church.  All 6th grade-12th graders are welcome!  Starting next Sunday, February 12, we will be meeting on Sunday mornings from 9:00 am-9:45 am in the Choir Room.  Come join us as we unite our voices in praise and worship through choral music.  Questions?  Contact Jenna Cook at 720.308.8824.

Class Offered

The Worship and Music ministry will be offering a class called "Music Literacy for the Church Musician".  The class will be taught by Eric Rubio and Pastor Caleb Widmer and will take place each Thursday evening, March 1-22, 7-8:30 pm in the Choir Room at Calvary. This class will equip musicians of all ages with basic music reading skills that will prove especially useful in the church context.  Please sign up early by emailing Pastor Caleb.

Calvary Connect

Are you new to Calvary? Would you like to learn more about Calvary and meet our pastors? You're invited to join us for the next Calvary Connect on Sunday, March 4 from 12:45- 2:00 pm in the Dining Room at Calvary Memorial Church. Please join us for a light lunch and learn more about what God is doing at Calvary, as well as meet some of our pastors and ministry staff who are here to care for you. There is no cost for this event, but you do need to register in the Welcome Register, at a Welcome Desk, or online by clicking here.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the church office or Pastor Keith. Wednesday Dinner

The menu for this Wednesday is chili and corn bread, salad bar and dessert.  The cost is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children ages 3 to 12. No need to register.

Monday Morning Prayer

Feel free to join this weekly time of prayer for the unemployed or underemployed with one of the Pastors from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. every Monday morning in the Legacy Room.  Please join to intercede for those in need.
