Leaders are Servants

Jesus is the Head of the Church (Colossians 1:18). Thus, our leaders are called to serve humbly, like Jesus. We are privileged to have Elders who have an earnest desire to serve God for the good of our church.

Elders are called to serve God and care for people (1 Peter 5:1-5). Our elders give wisdom and spiritual direction to our church. Many serve as community group leaders; they care for the leaders that care for small groups. Put yourself under the Elders' care by joining a small group.

Leadership is a Good Thing

Against all the preconceptions of our culture, being under healthy authority is a good thing. Christians thrive when they submit themselves to the authority of elders in the church.

If you are looking for spiritual leadership in your life, consider becoming a member. Membership is our way of moving past “going with” the church into a deeper level of commitment to its people, leaders, and health.
